2010 Equality Line Horse Show at Hammarö will be hosting a competition in the newly started Nordic Development Tour, which is an international CSI-2* and CSI-J. Competitions in Nordic Development Tour will first be held in Denmark, Norway, and finally here in Sweden during Equality Line Horse Show. At our show, the price awards in the CSI-2* Grand Prix will be €20 000, which gives the riders a good opportunity to get points to climb on the world ranking list!
Apart from the price awards in each class at Equality Line Horse Show, € 24 000 will be handed out to the top three best finished riders overall in Nordic Development Tour!
Equality Line Horse Show also holds classes for National, Regional as well as for Young Horses. This gives the riders a great opportunity to compete with horses that are at different levels, in the same horse show. International riders competing in the CSI-2* or CSI-J can also bring horses to enter in the other classes as well. There will be a record breaking number of horses competing this year; about 800 horses will compete in the event!
There will be a specific Young Horse tournament for 5,6 and 7-yearolds called Champion of the Youngster. Equality Line Horse Show also has classes specifically for 4-yearolds.
To compete in all classes apart from the International classes you have to enter through the Swedish Database, called Tävlingsdatabasen. As a foreign rider you simply create a new log in account.
The show ground has a spectacular view located right on the shore of Northern Europe’s largest lake, Lake Vänern. The show ground has a great location with proximity to golf courses, boat trips, swimming, shopping in the city of Karlstad (10 minutes) etc.
There will be a large restaurant on the show ground where you can buy all meals, snacks, drinks etc. In the evenings a live band will entertain. On Friday July 30th the Show organizes a “Rider’s banquet”! This is a chance for all riders, grooms, friends and family to relax and have a good time, doing dinner and dancing. A live band will perform, and a sneak peak of next year’s Equestrian fashion will be given. Tickets are sold in the restaurant at the show ground.
